#BLM: Experiences of Black GP Teachers
The second in our series of Black Lives Matter (BLM) #MedEd podcasts released during Black History Month, Rini speaks to two of our GP teachers - Drs Matilda Esan and Tim Modiano about their experiences as black doctors. They share advice for supporting students, patients, colleagues and their hopes for the future. This is a longer listen than our usual podcasts but important for all.
In the first BLM podcast Rini spoke to students from the African Caribbean Medical Society who had written an open letter to faculty. You can hear that here https://kumec.podbean.com/e/student-experiences-of-racism/
